Company Description: HEROweb/MightyMerchant is a web services firm based in Springfield, OR. We specialize in providing Internet marketing services, ecommerce and dynamic content website development, and hosting services for small businesses.

Overall Responsibilities

• Generates business and builds customer base for HEROweb/MightyMerchant.
• Takes a lead roll in developing and implementing the strategic marketing efforts of HEROweb/MightyMerchant.
• Builds and implements both internal and client marketing plans. Puts in place processes and documentation for marketing practices.

Essential Functions

HEROweb/MightyMerchant Marketing

• Develops and continuously revises overall marketing plan for Datahost, Inc. (MightyMerchant and HEROweb segments)
• Oversees research and development of new products, services and technologies and related marketing and sales strategies
• Integrates research, development, and sales and marketing strategies to successfully install new products and services or to revise existing product lines
• Forges strong relationships with current customers
• Writes articles and produces marketing media
• Delivers dynamic presentations to individuals and groups
• Manages advertising budget
• Compiles and interprets statistical data from in-house and outside sources, provides reports, and explores approaches to improve effective use of the data
• Develops metrics for measuring our success, analyzes results, and makes adjustments
• Researches competitors and compiles market data for potential new markets
• Evaluates and updates our websites for better performance and results
• Launches new web sites and services to broaden marketing reach

Client Marketing

• Helps clients develop online marketing plans
• Develops processes for delivery of marketing services to clients
• Works with current clients to improve web site performance
• Understands and implements usability improvements
• Develops and manages a team/network of providers to carry out marketing tasks
• Increases profitability of marketing services
• Develops training materials for delivery of sales and marketing services
  
• Lines up subcontractors
• Documents all work processes
• Builds customer confidence and excitement about our products

Skills and Abilities

• Expertise in Internet marketing and strategy
• Understands web usability issues
• Ability to interpret Google Analytics statistics
• Knows how to measure and increase website conversion rates
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent Internet and written communication skills
