We are looking to add a marketing and sales assistant to our team. The ideal candidate will have boundless enthusiasm and take a key role in implementing marketing programs for our customers and developing our own marketing and sales efforts. The candidate will be a detail-oriented and have outstanding writing capabilities. Our web sites are all built using our MightyMerchant system and the successful candidate will learn how to use MightyMerchant's capabilities and convey to others the value of our system. Overall Responsibilities
- Implements multi-faceted marketing plans for HEROweb/MightyMerchant customers.
- Assists in implementing the strategic marketing efforts of HEROweb/MightyMerchant.
- Puts in place processes and documentation for marketing practices.
- Works closely with our customer base to help them develop their online businesses.
- Assists with HEROweb/MightyMerchant sales process.
Essential Functions
- Develop expertise in a range of Internet marketing techniques, including SEO, PPC, email marketing and content development
- Assist in creating and implementing marketing programs for our customers
- Assist in executing marketing plan for HEROweb/MightyMerchant
- Gain proficiency in analyzing marketing data and taking action to produce results
- Develop creative marketing ideas
- Communicate with our customer base (via blog/email/newsletter/social)
- Communicate with customers about progress of marketing campaigns
- Do site updates
- Assist in building multiple avenues of lead generation
- Follow up with the leads
- Write proposals
- Document all work processes
- Build customer confidence and excitement about our products

Compensation
Hourly - based on experience
Includes:
Medical Insurance (80% covered by HEROweb, available if working full-time)
5 Paid Holidays
5 Paid days off annually, after 6 months
